You promote books with a rapist for a male lead–
A trend for thirteen year old schoolgirls with pigtails you feed
Such content written by women that taints their imaginations
Until it is desensitized and normalised as sexual temptations.
You push forward posts labelling it “dark romance”
Saying it’s just “fiction” for your gain, for finance,
But hide the posts of screaming women,
Sobbing for their children, raped and killed by powerful men.
Monetise on oh–so romantic–books of dark fictions
Ignore what goes on right in front of us within our nations–
For we are tired of watching videos of the world in rubbles;
We would rather live in rose-tinted bubbles.
With such content, you strip us of our moralities,
Romanticising unpreventable-by-the-law brutalities;
So the little girls grow up and stop caring about people’s pain
For they are busy being turned on by a man’s free rein.
