For getting a daughter like me.
He is like a Trojan,
never resting, always so consumed by his duties.
His day begins before the sun even rises.
The 24 hours I spend
resting, sleeping, eating
But to him, all of that is a luxury.
He is consumed by responsibilities,
a hectic life and constant worries.
Yet every day, when he gets home,
he never forgets to ask me about my day.
“Is there something you want to eat?”
My face lights up.
But despite all this,
I still feel sorry for him.
Sorry for the fact that I am his daughter.
A girl with no special qualities.
A girl who gets nervous so easily and messes everything up.
The one who tries to prove herself but fails.
Nothing but a wretched being.
Seeing him work so hard, do so much for me,
knowing that I'm just a good-for-nothing girl,
makes my heart ache.
He works so hard, but do I deserve his love?
I feel sorry for my dad.
Perhaps I should try to be a better daughter.
